Music BTS

Theres something about shooting backstage / BTS on digital that doesn't feel right. Almost intrusive. I feel in order to accurately convey that feeling is to shoot it on film. From local artists to some of the biggest on the planet, its a privilege to have artists of any caliber comfortable with me and allow me into their world.

When I was growing up I never had siblings but a pluthra of cousins. The closest to me in age is about 4 years older than me. He was the closest thing I had to a big brother. I remember at family functions wed be in his room with his friends playing GTA 5 (yes way back then) and crash bandicoot on the PS2. Around us in his room were photos of Logic, Mac Miller and other artists. All these prints were candid photos. Photos that made you feel as if you were kicking it with them yourself. In the studio or wherever. That feeling was something I chased and have been lucky enough to share with others through my lens. I hope one day people could look up at their walls with my work and be inspired with the same feeling I had when I was also staring up at drywall.
